Last month, the Texas Burlesque Peepshow put on a New Orleans-inspired event: Bourbon Street Burlesque. Hosted by Ben Wisdom, the night included classic burlesque and live music.

The Pistolettes brought in some New Orleans bounce, and May May took everybody on a gender-bending journey.

There was also burlesque done to live music, as members of the Viva Dallas Burlesque Showgirls teamed up with The Lyric Laveau Band.

Headliner Jolie Goodnight combined the two with her signature sing-and-strip routines.

It was a fun opportunity to re-live the excitement of Mardi Gras.
